San Javier, Murcia - information needed
My 22 y/o daughter has been assigned to teach high school English in San Javier, Murcia. She speaks Spanish. We know very little about the area...size, industry, safety, natural landscape, nearest major city, etc. I would appreciate any advice and information that you may have. It was suggested she stay in a hostel for a couple weeks when she first arrives so when she is looking for an apartment she can actually see it with her own eyes. Also, wondering if anyone knows anything about the possibility of host famlies in that region? Cost of living? As always, muchas gracias!

As you can no doubt appreciate this is a travel forum. I would suggest you ask the same question (s) on this forum where you are more than likely to find English speakers living in the area.

If you do post give your nationality too as this could have an influence on answers like visas etc.
Good luck

Go to http://www.eyeonspain.com/. You will have to sign up (very simple) andd then go to the Sierra Golf forum. This is 10/15 minutes from San Javier.
People on there will be able to answer your questions, as some will have family in schools there.
San Javier is lovely. 10 minutes or less from the beach. Was there a few weeks ago.
