Yeah they hold your visa for awhile don't they?

If you had other travel plans that wouldn't be so good.

Did you arrange a house rental from the US in order to be able to show proof of a place to stay for 90 days? Like some receipt for prepaid rent?

Goes to show that everything is different. The on line system here in Aus does not allow you to make an appointment until two months before you travel. Then they are so booked up, you take what you can get. The approval decision was made in 4 days and then passports returned. Seven days all up was excellent service.
We have no intention of staying longer than 12 months. oforparis I hope you keep enjoying Paris. Such a beautiful city.
