We will be in venice, and would like to spend a few days in salzburg area, as well as ride the bernina express train. I'm not sure what the best order is to do this- bernina express first, then Salzburg or vice versa. We have 6 days for this part of the trip, then head to London, so we need to be able to get a train or flight at the end. Looking for suggestions on how to plan this out. We have 3 pre-teen/teens too, so the easier the better. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

You'd have to take the train from Venice, change in Milan for Tirano in Italy. From there the Bernina to somewhere like Chur. Change there for the eventual trip to Salzburg which would require more changes.

It would not be easy. I would enjoy the mountains and lakes in the Salzkammergut region of Austria.
