Sagrada Familia Advanced Ticket Purchase Question
I want to buy tickets in advance for entry, audio guide and visit to a tower. The combination of an audioguide and tower visit doesn't look to be an available option on the website. If I buy tickets for entry and tower visit, is it likely that I can pay an additional fee for the audioguide upon entry?

I very much recommend the guided tour. I thought I knew a lot about the church and Gaudí before visiting, but the very knowledgeable English speaking guide made a huge difference and added immensely to the experience. Important details there and then and comments that would never come out in an audioguide. About one hour and then you can do the towers etc in your own pace.

Okay, another question. Timed entries are associated with online tickets. I'm curious what the time window is for those timed tickets. For example, if I buy 11am entry tickets, do I have until 11:15am to use them? Not finding that info on the website.

Hi Ann Marie -
Last summer we made sure to show up about 10-15 minutes before our ticket time and had to wait until the time printed on the ticket to be let in - was in high tourist season, with pretty considerable lines. Not sure about how long after the printed time one would be admitted.

Thanks Seamus, good to know they don't allow entry until the time stated. I'm not sure if we'll visit Sagrada Familia first thing in the morning or after we finish a bike tour. I have visions of the bike tour finishing late and missing the entry time to Sagrada Familia. I think I just talked myself into going first thing in the morning.

mmodrich it is not mandatory but it is strongly advisable to buy ticets in advance, as lines can be long for day of purchases. Easy to do, just go to http://www.sagradafamilia.cat/sf-eng...informacio.php

So I went online to buy tickets for a 10 am time slot and it then takes me to options that say Tower on the Passion Facade with the times 9-12, 12-15, 15-18, 18-19:30 and then Tower on the Nativity Facade with the same times. I'm confused now.

What is confusing? You need to book a time to enter the basilica and then a time to go up the towers (after your entry time).
If you click on the time slots you will get a further breakdown for the towers. Choose a facade and then choose a time...
