Hi Starrs, I still plan on checking whatever piece of luggage I buy and just take a carryon with me for the plane cabin.

Hmmm Suze, maybe a 24inch would be better than a 22inch. See janisj, I am "slipping" already, lol.

I do have to buy something. I got rid of all of my old luggage and only have a 29inch left which I will never travel with again. But it is perfect for storing extra bed pillows.

roundbunny, you will have a fantastic experience. I can only imagine how excited your must be!

Hi RB,

>Thanks ira, however, I dont' think I can pick it up from the booths ...

Yes, you can.

You might not be able to use a vending machine, but you can get your tickets from a SNCF boutique or any train station.

Bring the same CC that you used to buy the tickets.

You can do this on any day when you don't have your luggage with you.

Hi ira, sorry if this seems silly, but can you please clarify this line:
"You can do this on any day when you don't have your luggage with you."

Is there any reason why I can't do it when I have luggage with me...? (or are you just saying it will be easier for me to buy tickets directly instead of pre-ordering when I've luggage...?)
Thanks!

Since there have been drastic changes today for luggage, here is a list of shipping services. I think the cheapest will be about $75.

First Luggage - www.firstluggage.com or from the US 1-800-224-5781.

Excessbaggage - www.excessbaggage.com 1-800-783-1085. You might be redirected to their US affiliate Contour.

Contour USA - www.contour-usa.com

luggage/courier services based in the US -
www.skycapinternational.com
www.virtualbellhop.com

Expanding to Europe -
www.usxpluggageexpress.com
