Of course not in a bum bag (fanny pack across the Atlantic). That WOULD be a silly place to keep one's passport (and even sillier to wear).

If you are carrying your passport, it will be secure in a money belt under your clothing.

I am sure you would, but I really dont think you can answer for everyone. Not all posters on here are as travelled or experienced as you appear to be. My post was made to highligh the potential security aspect of carrying you passport around with you.

I just meant -- recommending against placing a passport in a bum bag is pretty darned obvious . . . . .

I said <b>IF</b> you were going to carry it, your passport would be in your money belt.
