Sad news for Annhig

Oh, Ann, so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. We all shared in your trip, probably not realising how serious things were. Your strength in making this dream trip for him happen is inspiring. I remember us describing the 'seat' where we viewed the wondrous Alps, you both being there just before us.. https://flic.kr/p/YwVutK Precious memories.

It was very much evident reading Fodor's that this was a much-loved man, loved by a very intelligent & discerning woman, and I cannot help but think it was the world to him to have had won this love -- no doubt deserved. Thank you for sharing your love for him with everyone. All good to you and your entire family.

I was privilieged to share an enjoyable evening at a Paris restaurant with Ann and Bill and some others a few years ago, and I have followed Ann's account of Bill's illness here on Fodor's over the past months. I am so sorry this has happened to this lovely family.
I am very glad Ann and Bill were able to travel to Switzerland and that Ann shared their journey with us.
