Ryanair and Insurance?
Hi-- I am looking into a flight on Ryanair.com from Venice to Rome, a one hour flight. I wonder if you advise to take insurance?
When I look to see what type of insurance is offered, it is pages long in Italian. Then elsewhere on their site I saw this:
Medical cover up to E. 3.3m- No age limits. (What does the "m" refer to after euro price?)
Baggage cover up to E. 1235- Cover up to 60 days.
I want to book by Monday midnight to get a deal with price, a small sale of E. 15 deduction. I have looked at a some threads but most talk about all the other costs Ryanair tacks on e.g. boarding priority!
Any thoughts are appreciated. Then will book this early morning 7:55 flight.

Why on earth do you need insurance on an internal flight?
Assuming you are an Italian resident you are covered for medical expenses automatically
If you aren't an EU resident then why don't you have insurance already?
And EU citizens will normally get reciporical medical treatment anyway - it's only the "shipping the body home" type of thing you need cover for

Thank you Will, I noticed that USA was not in their drop down window so did not click on insurance. Now my flight is from Treviso and we will be in Venice, 19 miles away so all our plan is now changed. But, if I take Ryanair, no insurance!
