Interesting PalenQ, I would love to read your article. There did not seem to be many tour groups while we were there, I saw one from Viking but did not see telltale signs of others.

loved your report- we were in Paris last year during the heatwave (I think early-mid June) without a/c in our rental apartment. I feel your pain.
We are going back in April and have an overnight in Rouen (dinner Tuesday and lu ch the next day with sightseeing in between) as my husband is a foodie and the town seems charming. We will also be at the Bourgethalde. As we will be starting the week in Paris, I was planning on a train to Rouen which I know is not difficult. However, am now thinking about having a driver one way. Would you recommend your driver and/or provide contact info? Having a bit of trouble finding private drivers in Paris that are not sightseeing tours with 4 hour minimums.

I am so sorry Laurie23, I have only just seen your message and now your trip is over. We would recommend Elegance Limousines and prefer Mohammad as a driver but either driver we had would be fine.
