Rossli in Zurich ?

How is Hotel Rossli in Zurich ? Is it walking distance from the Zurich attractions and the train station ? Is it close to some Indian hotel with authentic Indian meals ? If not, then can someone suggest a place that is reasonably decent, close to attractions and also near an Indian hotel ?

Jhumki good morning!
The Hotel Rössli is a small 3-star hotel with some 17 rooms and is in the middle of all, close to the lake, restaurants, shops, major sites. To walk from the train station will take some 15-20 minutes. Website: www.hotelroessli.ch
For further info about Zurich:
www.zurichtourism.ch

Now, Indian restaurants are very rare in Zurich and rather expensive. Here are two, but the are not in the city at all:

Taj Palace
Hönggerstrasse 25
8049 Zurich
Tel. 271 67 20

Maharaja
Weststrasse 180
8003 Zürich
Tel. 462 62 85

PS: What do you understand with "an Indian Hotel"? I was in India (Rajasthan) and did not find them different from other hotels in the word.

I am not sure I understood your questions but the reason I was looking for an Indian hotel next to the place I would stay is that I am a pure vegetarian and would have to either find pure veg good in Zurich or (the easier way), go to an Indian restaurant. So none of these two restaurants are even close to Rossli

No, both places are out of the city, but nice...
In the city, you will find some other Asian places which do serve a lot of vegetarian dishes.
Jhumki: There are some very nice vegetarian places in Zurich such as: Hiltl Vegi off Bahnhofstrasse and Tibits (spelling?) at Seefeldstrasse behind the Opera House.
Both places are extremely hip and do have very nice vegetarian food.
In "normal" restaurants you will usually find at least a couple of vegetarian dishes.
Enjoy Zurich!
