Room in Venice next weekend

Well, I just found a nice offer on tuifly.de. Munich to Venice roundtrip next weekend 39.98€ incl. taxes. Plane leaves in the morning on Saturday, returns late on Sunday. Book it and now I'm looking for the best place to stay around 50€ to 65€. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Logos - I recently stayed one night 10 mins from Mestre (- towards the airport) for € 50.

I think you could find options in Mestre if not in Venice at that price.

Thanks! www.alcampaniel.com was fully booked (Or they didn't want to rent to room to someone staying only one day.)
Casa Querini on venere.com costs 48€, I think I'll go there? The reviews are rather good.

I put in your dates on www.veniceby.com and the first to come up was Residenza Ca Dario at E50 for a single bed room. Other properties followed.

Ca Dario is located in Santa Croce. I stayed in this area once and while it is not my favourite, I liked it. Real people live and work here.

Logos, that is great. Did you get the price directly from the hotel? Here's the web site, in case anyone wants to know. It's a 3* hotel.

I booked at venere.com, initial price was 48€, but when booking it showed "4% off". No reason given
