Ristorante Abruzzi, via Vaccaro, 1 (at end of Piazza Santi Apostoli). A best buy. Located about mid-way between the Trevi Fountain and Trajan's Column. Small restaurant. Run by same family for all of the 30+ years I've been going there. Quite inexpensive. Cannelloni Abruzzi the specialty, but everything well-prepared. (Get there early for the specialty; they run out early!) (X Saturday)

For more suggestions see http://twenj.com/romerests.htm
Hi, my sister and I had an excellent dinner at Il Ristorante 34, a couple blocks from the Spanish Steps, not real expensive but we always just order a salad, pasta and vegie. Sorry I don't have the address, just ask for it at your hotel. Have a great trip!
