Rome Shuttle service - FCO to city
I am planning a trip to Rome, I have searched on this forum for information about transfer to/from FCo airport. I have seen threads recommending Rome Shuttle Limosine, but they charge, 35 euros per car. I am travelling solo, is there a company similar to Super Shuttle in the US, that can trnsfer me to/from FCO. Thanks.
PS, I am still working out my hotel, so I'm not too sure where I'll be staying.

ellenem, thanks for drawing the train to my attention. I should have mentioned I would like to avoid taking the train since I do not speak Italian, I will be tired from a transAtlantic flight and I will have to carry a suitcase and carry on.
I have seen alot of websites for companies offering tours/transfers/hotels in Italy. I do not know which companies are reputiable.

RomeCabs charges 45 Euros for a trip into the city, but you'll look hard to find a more dependable and reputable service. I've used them several times to and from the airport and for a night time tour of Rome. Fantastic service, dependable, great vehicles, and all the drivers speak good English.

I don't think you'll have to look too hard, 2Italy. I've used (and many more here have as well) RomeShuttleLimousine, which the original poster mentioned which charges 35euro and has great cars, dependable service, and wonderful drivers. But the poster is looking for something less than that, not more.

dont want to take the train because you dont speak italian??? taking the train requires on italian skills really, and the savings will be huge for you. why pay someone 35-45 on up euros that you could spend on a nice meal etc for yourself later. Take the Express...or to save even more take the regular train 3-6 euros into Roma. Of course the express takes you to Termini ...whereas the regular train has other station stop options. Find out where you will be staying and chose accordingly. You hop the tram or grab a cab at the station to your final destination easy. Our party of 4 non italian speakers took the reg train with luggage in tow to trastevere station and a cab to our hotel. Most likely someone at the ticket counter at the stations speak english to aid you nicely.

Dear goingtobeijin,
Don't worry about this services offered by this companies.
I suggest you to check this websites about the airport transfers by taxi, train and private cars, limousine.
Rome Airport shuttle, is one of the best service you can get. It's not so cheap and no so expensive.
If you want to check up the rates get a look:

If you want to save maney you can get the train, only 11/12€ one way trip. I don't suggest you this one, cause it's so uncomfortable and untidy. It taks quite 45 minutes (1 h on delays).

I went in Rome last summer and i got the Airportransfer service which is as good as the first one.

I realize that the OP is going alone, but whenever I think of two people taking the train and then getting a taxi (usually to the historical center) I am 95% sure they're spending more than the 35 euro RomeShuttleLimousine would have been with a whole lot less hassle.

I am agree with NeoPatrick.
If you'll get by train, you'll need a cab to your hotel, and sometimes a lot of taxi driver aren't nice and make you pay a lot of money cause they get around the city and don't take the briefiest way to get to your hotel.
Check up those websites, it's better for you, and have a nice holiday.
