Rome Restaurant for Large Family

I was just informed by mother that my family is doing Christmas in Rome this year. We will be about 12 people. Any ideas for restaurants particularly good for a family of this size? We are needing recommendations for all price ranges as I'm sure we'll want to do some splurges for Christmas Eve and Christmas, but will need moderate and cheaper prices too.

We had a pleasant evening here a couple of years ago. Menu with prices is at the web site.

SloPugs, I think you will find large parties in most restaurants in Rome, all over Italy for that matter. You should perhaps select some nice restaurants that appeal to you and then just confirm that they can accommodate you. Merry Christmas indeed!

I think Rome is a great idea for Christmas. Howvever, I think you will find many restaurants closed on Christmas Eve and virtually all but hotel restaurants closed on Christmas. If you have a hotel in mind, you may want to contact them now about what in their view would be open on those days. It would be unsusual in the US to find a restaurant open on Christmas (other than Chinese restaurants maybe), and it would be even more so in Europe.

Thanks for the tips! I will be sure to ask the hotel (I've been there before and know they have an excellent concierge) for restaurants open Christmas/Christmas Eve. I wouldn't mind a good Chinese ore Japanese restaurant if those are the only omes open!
