Rome Rentals

We are staying in Rome for 2 weeks in September, 2004 and would like to rent an apartment (no car). Anyone know of something centrally located, near public transportation that has kitchen facilities and bath included?
Thanks, Cindy

I enjoyed Palazzo Olivia apts. and would recommened. It is centrally located and around a 3 minute walk to Piazza Navona, less than 10 to the Pantheon. It has many restaurants and shops within the area. People who run it are very helpful and nice.Their website is www.palazzoolivia.it

I'm not that computer literate so I don't know where to start to see all that is available on the web. That's why the question. Do you have favorites or at least ones you've tried that you would recommend?

Cindy: back to my original post, I am referring to the hundreds of Rome apartments ideas POSTED ON THIS FORUM, not in any other website, but at http://fodors.com/forums/europe

I may be wrong to assumed that before posting, you have browse ideas already posted. If that is the case, let me then suggest that you browse THIS FORUM for the incredibly valuable information already posted on Rome rentals (search function: Rome apartments).

Thanks to lvitaly for Palazzo Olivia. The apartments look great. Can you tell me more pluses and minuses. Also, what about the neighborhood? Thanks so much!
And thanks to Maira too. I have been reading all the forums here!
