Rome Museum Pass?

Is there a discounted, multi-admission pass like the Muse pass in Paris? Where to purchase?

Grazie!

Sorry, no. The only thing I've encountered are a couple small museums with a reciprocal arrangement (i.e., you can buy admission to both at one site), but nothing major.

Dayle - When I was researching my Rome trip a couple of years ago, I discovered a National Roman Museum Card for 7€ and a Roma Archeological Card for 20€. They are limited compared to the Paris museum pass but they may meet your needs. Info: http://www.romaturismo.com/v2/allasc...n/musei02.html

Dayle - The ROMA ARCHEOLOGIA CARD Mara mentions is a combo ticket valid for 9 sights:

- Colosseo
- Palatino
- Terme di Caracalla
- Palazzo Massimo
- Palazzo Altemps
- Crypta Balbi
- Terme di Diocleziano
- Villa dei Quintili, and
- Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella.

... and costs € 20.00.

Hope this helps ...

Thanks Howard, Mara, and Steve! I wasn't planning on visiting any of the sites on the card, so it looks like I'll just fork over a few more Euros. Ciao!

Villa Borghese and Villa Doria Pamphilij have a reciprocal arrangement that allows you to save about 3 Euros.

The Palazzo Massimo is a little gem. We happened upon it a few years ago only because it started to rain and it was a convenient spot where we could keep dry!
We loved the mosaics. The real diamond of the museum, however, was the fresco from Livia's dining room.
It's located near the termini and well worth an hour or two of your time.

very good and sooo genuine section about rome museums on this blog from an elder man living in rome, i can read all the 75 years of experience in those words, is so compassionate, you can find there hours of museums, prices etc but most of all a genuine experience about how to live the city's art
