Rome Hotels--Piazza Navona
I haven't been able to find any comments in Fodors about the Pantheon View B+B or the Hotel Navona. They both seem nice but I would like to hear from someone who has stayed at either one. Thanks.

I put "Pantheon View B+B" (with the quote marks) and got a number of hits, for instance this one...

Message: My family stayed at this B&B in the summer of 2001 and rented three of the rooms. Room 2 is probably a little bit bigger. Both rooms 'share' the balcony. I feel like I should tell you that we did not like this facility at all. The woman who owns the apartment and lives upstairs with her family (including a teenager at the time) was extremely unfriendly and complained about everything we did. There was NO water pressure and it took about 15 minutes for the water to heat up to a luke warm temp. There are three locked doors you have to go through to get in the apartment. Finally, we had money stolen from our suitcase. We have also stayed at the Hotel Smeraldo near Campo di Fiori (great location!) and at the Panda Pension near the Spanish Steps (very nice facility - marble everything). Both are about the same price at this B&B. I would highly recommend one of these two facilities over this one.

I stayed at the Hotel Navona in the fall of 2002. The location is wonderful, but I found the hotel disappointing; it depends what you are looking for. It was clean and convenient, but our room had an extremely low ceiling, a window looking out into an always dark courtyard/airshaft and a somewhat dismal feeling about it as a result. If you look at the comments on tripadvisor, you'll find that many feel the same way. On the other hand, my boyfriend, who cares less about charm in hotel rooms than I, thought it was a good choice, because of the great location.
