Rome Hotels

I am overwhelmed by the hotels. Want to stay either near the Trevi Fountain or near the Piazza Novano. Any Suggestions. There will be 5 of us. Looked at the Hotel Accademia, Hotel Julia, and Hotel Apollo. Any suggestions?

We're staying at the Hotel Giardino in October. Fair price and very central to where you want to be.

5 in one room? How long will you be there? Have you considered an apartment?

We will have two rooms at Residenza Antica Roma on via del Tritone, around the block from Trevi. Haven't stayed yet (Sept) but it has overall good comments on Tripadvisor. Rates are 170€.

None of the the hotels you listed are close to the tRevi fountain or Piazza Navona. The Appollo is VERY far.

I suggest you look at places east of Via del Corso.

Hotel Julia is 2-3 blocks from Trevi, just s. of Barberini... Apollo is by the Colosseum... Accademia is between the Trevi and via del Tritone. Giardini is between the Colosseum and Trevi...
The one I reserved is between Trevi and Barberini.
