Hello - I am a newcomer to this, so please bear with me... I have become an "addict" to this message forum - there is so much helpful information. We will be visiting Italy in May, 2004 for 15 days. Have been pouring over brochures, guides, internet... and would like some advice on some hotels that we have chosen - Has any stayed at Hotel Contilla in Rome? Hotel Ritz in Florence? Hotel Santa Caterina in Sienna and the Hotel Weber Ambassador in Capri? Any help would be greatly appreciated. First time in Italy and I can't wait.

I stayed at the Santa Caterin in Siena two years ago, and recall it being very nice.

We have done the Ritz and S.C. and would endorse both.
