Rome Apt. Reviews
I tried to find the apartment reviews at Sleepinitaly but was not successful in finding it from their home page. Can someone send me that link? Thanks. I am looking for a small apt. on a quiet street with air and at least a queen bed. A small outdoor area would be good for my cigar smoking spouse. I need to be in the area of public transportation for easy access to airport upon departure. Help!

Jerry, I don't think the location is impossible, although it's a bit outside the historic centre so you would have a lot of walking to do to major sites. I'd guess it would be close to an hour's walk to the Vatican, for example, or the Coliseum; maybe 45 minutes' walk to the Pantheon/Piazza Navona. That's not impossible.
Still, I'd keep looking at other apartments. This apartment looks okay, nice photos, but I don't see a single window. Tbat would bother me. The outdoor photos seem to be of the Bocca della Verita (Mouth of truth) and the adjacent church and area -- not of your apartment.
From the airport, I would take the Leonardo Express train to Termini rail station, which costs only 11 euro, and from Termini catch a cab to your apartment. Rome's bus system is a bit complicated, although if you choose this apartment, you would be near some major routes.

Price range is a good question, and though I've never personally used it (nor have my guests) Sleep In Italy is a reputable company I have heard only good things about. My personal guests tend to use Leisure in Rome since they too have lovely selection, great deals, and a mother-tongue English staff; that goes a long way with the picky relatives! Anyway, their site is worth a look anyway, and very user friendly. Happy hunting

OK< I looked at the map, it isn't in either place, BUT, I have stayed in this location and it's great, not very noisy, a quick walk through the forum will get you to the other side of the city, close to the jewish area and Trastevere, not many restaurants and bars in this area but a short walk away.

Here is one we had my daughter, husband and 2 small children in. The location cannot be beat, about 100 meters from Navona, down Via Coronari, towards Ponte Sant'Angelo. I wrote a review on it a couple of years back.

The price is the same as what you are looking at and way more convenient for sites. It is very close to several bus stops, but there is no metro station.
