I have looked at a few companies and I think we are going to use Walks of Italy. They offer a 3 hour 15 min tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basillica for 64€ each. I looked at Context tours and they were out of my price range at 95 € each plus the ennty fee of $21.50 (That would be almost $300.00 USD for 2 people for a tour!)
I would love to hear what others have done.

I've used Context and Enjoy Rome. When I went with a Context group, the company was quite affordable. The prices increased several years later so I chose Enjoy Rome. I thought the Context tour was exceptional but for the money, Enjoy Rome was very good and very affordable.

I used Walks of Italy for several tours including the Vatican and Colosseum this past September. Great tour guides. Each tour had only 7-8 people including myself and my husband. Worth more then the price. I think the Vatican was the Pristine Sistine. Great tour and the Colosseum was the vip access.

We did a private tour this June with Italy with Us, I paid a total of about 400 euros for our group of seven adults and it was well worth the price. Started early at 7.30, which gave us early entrance to the Sistine Chapel, we spent over half and hour there with just about 30-40 people, sheer bliss. We came back out that way at the end of the tour to go into St Peters basilica and there was barely standing room, people were packed in like sardines! Our guide was great and she took us to the galleries we wanted to see, so that worked well, I'd highly recommend a private tour.
