Rome Airport Fiumicino - Arrival Question
Hello all,
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, if so let me know the thread.
I am coming into Terminal G from American Airlines into Rome Airport this week. What is the typical process flow from getting off the plane to passport stamp, getting bags and then exiting the airport. I see where Terminal G or 5 I believe is the satellite terminal for International flights. How do I get to the main terminals, and go through passport control and get the luggage.
Thanks!

Luggage retrieval has been the time limiting factor at FCO for me. I don't plan to be able to leave FCO until about an hour after the plane door opens.
However, where did you get the arrival terminal info?
I think "G" is a boarding area designation. According to http://www.adr.it/web/aeroporti-di-r...co-airport-map, arrival terminals are T1 and T3. I flew back from FCO last year from one of the lettered boarding area.
If you are flying AA718 PHL-FCO, arriving in FCO around 9:10am, according to www.adr.it, it has been arriving in T3.

Yep flight 718 from PHL-FCO. I do see that Terminal 3, so you may be right. On my flight into it say "G" but maybe that is referring to when that plane leaves, or flight leaves not sure.
It it comes in to Terminal 3, what is that process?
Thanks for the help!

The routes are designed so that you can;t get out of the international arrivals areas without going through Immigration. Then just follow the signs for the luggage carousel, get your bag and walk out through the green (Nothing to Declare) door.
