Hi Obijuan-
I'll try to answer the question. I don't have 1st hand information, but I can tell you what my 2004 Rome guide book says.
There IS a combo-ticket which is valid for 7 days, covers admission to:
National Museum of Rome
Colosseum & Palatine Hill
Baths of Caracalla
Museum of the Bath
Crypt Balbi
Palazzo Altemps
The ticket is listed as €20, and for an extra €5, the ticket will let you get free audioguide at the sites. You buy the ticket at any of the sites listed above.
As I said, this is not 1st hand information, so no guarantees! Maybe somebody else will have more information.

The ROMA ARCHEOLOGIA CARD is valid for 9 sights altogether at €20.00.
Here's the complete list:
Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, Crypta Balbi, Terme di Diocleziano, Colosseo, Palatino, Terme di Caracalla, Villa dei Quintili, Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella.
