Romantic honeymoon

My fiance and I are starting to plan our honeymoon in May of 2004. We have about 7 days so we would prefer to limit our trip to one or two european cities. We like historical sites, especially castles and are looking for a romantic destination (or two) with good hotels and good food. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi, Paris and Venice / Florence would be wonderful trips. But if you really like castles, why not look into Munich? We are about to go there and I keep reading about some really amazing castles in Bavaria.

You won't go wrong with any of these cities, however!

How about Paris for 7 days with a side trip to Versailles and even the Loire Valley. Plenty of chateaux.
