romance on a budget!
Greetings...
I'm surprising my boyfriend with a trip to Prague for his birthday in May.
Please suggest a romantic place to stay. Around $90.00 a night? Is that possible? Lastly what will the weather be like at that time?
Also I noticed that everyone recommended visiting Budapest. Is that a must do? What is the train cost to Budapest?
All the best

I receommend getting help from www.athos.cz for your lodging needs. they are terrific people, and you can even chat with them real time on ICQ, if you want.
Best wishes,

Priceline often has great rates for 4* hotels in Budapest and Prague that would meet your budget. See http://www.betterbidding.com and http://www.biddingfortravel.com

It is not the best idea to piggyback a question like this onto something that has a messqage header not even vaguely related to your queswtion (in fact, her message header is not even very good for her own question!)
But anyhow... the website www.railsaver.com says that a 2nd class adult ticket costs about 37 US dollars. Others may cite the German web site bahn.de (maybe best for actual schedules?) or you can make your way through the websites of the national rail system of every country in Europe by searching on "mercurio" here on this forum.
While I/we are being random in questions and answers, I see that the original question about weather was not answered. Check out www.weatherbase.com

The first time I visited Prague I found so much to do there I wouldn't have considered going to Budapest. This year I'm planning a trip, with a small group, that will include Prague, Vienna and Budapest. 2 of us have been to Prague and the other 2 have not. I'm hoping 4 days in Prague will be enough time for them.
