Why not start out with a romantic dinner at a nice intimate restaurant with great food. My husband and I went to Le Bellecour in the 7th district on our honeymoon. I do not have the address but you can look it up at www.pagesjaunes.com and then click on the little British flag for English.
The River cruise sounds like a great idea but I would not eat on board the food was not that good.
I am sure there are other suggestions that will follow. Have a nice trip!

Will, although I am not Sherry,I would guess it is a young woman whose attitude is "light and fluffy" which in the area I live in ,here in NYC-means "light hearted," fluffy being not so serious,"heavy"..we should all try to be light and fluffy for at least a few hours each day

I will be going to Paris for the first time this Sept. and have always heard that Paris is dressier than other European cities. Is this true?

When in Paris, you must wear cowboy boots, a 10-gallon hat, and a huge belt buckle. That will make you feel right at home.

Bottom line, dress conservatively, and you will fit right in.
