Why not start out with a romantic dinner at a nice intimate restaurant with great food. My husband and I went to Le Bellecour in the 7th district on our honeymoon. I do not have the address but you can look it up at www.pagesjaunes.com and then click on the little British flag for English.
The River cruise sounds like a great idea but I would not eat on board the food was not that good.
I am sure there are other suggestions that will follow. Have a nice trip!

Blake;
I have found this web site invaluable www.zagat.com
You can read a review on le Bellecour or any other restaurnt.
You might want to look into L'Orangie in the 4th.You can also find it on the Zagat web site.
Good luck
Viva la France!
to the top

Out of curiosity, exactly what is "a fluffy girl"?

NYGirl Jul 21st, 2002 03:53 PM

Will, although I am not Sherry,I would guess it is a young woman whose attitude is "light and fluffy" which in the area I live in ,here in NYC-means "light hearted," fluffy being not so serious,"heavy"..we should all try to be light and fluffy for at least a few hours each day:)

Again, thanks Kate for the clarification. I thought it meant she was retaining water or something.

;8)

Lol-Will:O) maybe it does! This was just my idea of what it means!
There might be a few light and fluffy ladies here then *NYGirl not Kate

I will be going to Paris for the first time this Sept. and have always heard that Paris is dressier than other European cities. Is this true?

Mike Jul 21st, 2002 04:46 PM

When in Paris, you must wear cowboy boots, a 10-gallon hat, and a huge belt buckle. That will make you feel right at home.

Bottom line, dress conservatively, and you will fit right in.
