Rock Concert at Buckingham Palace.

I saw the rock concert @ Buckingham Palace on VH1 the other day. How many of you lucky people got to see it in person? Did the Queen look like she was enjoying herself or did she look like she would be glad when it was over?

The Queen and Charles prefer classical music. William and Harry probably thought "What a bunch of old geezers!" Bet Diana would have loved it though!

HMQ herself wasn't there, until the speeches and fireworks at the very end (she isn't that far off 80 for heavens' sake, though come to think of it, some of the performers aren't that far behind her). My newspaper reported that she appeared to be wearing earplugs for the bit she was there for.

Well I watched it from the palace gates on the big screens and although the concert wasn't brilliant the atmosphere outside was super. The fireworks were better than the concert! And HM WAS

we watched from the gates, too. the fireworks were much more impressive than most of the ageing rockers. fortunately, sir paul was in good form. what really impressed us yanks was how well behaved the crowds were and how tolerant the police were. the local papers showed photos of william, harry and some of the cousins doing "the mexican wave". (don't ask). it was a great time to be in london.

Why do the Brits insist on calling it the "Mexican wave"? Yes, I know they saw it for the first time during the World Cup in Mexico, but everyone else knows it was started at American university football games, and is simply called the wave.

Further to Mrs Wilsons comment, he has also missed the fact that a Brit invented the first computer.
