Roads and Itinerary Mallorca

My 26-year-old daughter and I will be in Mallorca this October for 3 nights. We arrive at 9:00 am on day 1. We plan to rent a car.

My main question is whether the road from Palma to Sóller/ Port de Sóller/Fornalutx via the tunnel has any areas where there are steep drop-offs along the route. I can deal with windy roads, but I freeze up with some panic with open drop offs, even with guard rails. I can’t manage those roads, as much as I’d like to push through it. It’s a little embarrassing, but I’d rather ask than be a basket case on a scary road. We are hoping to stay in Sóller or Port de Sóller for our base, if the roads are ok. Otherwise we will stay in Palma and take the bus or train.

I have the same roads question regarding driving from Sóller to Polençia and Aclúdia(via going back through the tunnel and driving via MA13 and MA2200). The google topography maps and anything I’ve read seems to indicate the roads to all these places are ok, but I don’t want any surprises.

For our itinerary, we would like to explore Sóller/ Port de Sóller/Fornalutx on day 1, Palma on day2(possibly via bus or train) and Polenćia/Aclúdia on day 3. Does this seem like a reasonable plan time-wise? We like to see a lot but also relax into it all as well, enjoying the feel of a place and the people. Thanks in advance for any information.
