Restaurants in Rome, and Can you prepurchase Coliseum and Vatican tickets?

Hi, I am posting for a friend...she is looking for names of some really good Restaurants in Rome. Can anyone please recommend any? No too expensive. Also, is it possible to prepurchase tickets for the Coliseum and Vatican etc. to avoid lines? Any information would be really helpful.

Thanks.

We went to one around the corner from the Pantheon. We did a semi private tour that did the Coliseum they took us to a quicker entry to buy tickets. Also did a private tour of the Vatican which was worth it.

Yes. Vatican tickets on the Vatican website.

Or tours:

For the Colosseum/Forum/Palantine, you can either buy tickets online through Pierreci or buy a 3 day Roma Pass (25€)which gets your free entrance to your first two sites, discounts after that plus a 3 day transport pass.

Two restaurants that I would recommend are:

Salumeria Roscioli (reservations desirable) $175 for two. It was very good, but there is something weird in that they are connected if by name only to a bakery which uses no animal products while they do (obviously). It's a short distance from Campo dei Fiori going towards the Via Arenula. http://www.salumeriarosci...cioli_Eng/restaurant.htm

Ripa 12 ($150 for two). It was better. Oriented toward seafood and fish. It's in the Trastevere. Reviews are mixed, we had an excellent meal.
