Thank you for the hotel suggestions. We have booked hotel avenida. If anyone has any restaurant suggestions we would be happy to have them. In particular we are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary while there so something special for that night as well. Open to all suggestions. We love food and wine and are happy going casual with good atmosphere as well as something a bit more high end if it's really memorable. Thanks.

Higher end, take a look at Alma, 1 Star Michelin, we had an exquisite lunch there. Or Bel Canto, by Jose Avillez. We did not eat there, but did have meals at a few of his other restaurants, very good experiences. Also had an enjoyable dinner at Sacramento.
