Restaurant Suggestions for Prague

We will be in Prague for three nights this Memorial Day weekend. We found what looks like a wonderful hotel--The Golden Well, so now we are wondering if you have any suggestons for your favorite restaurants?????

Thanks. Jan

dobrý den jlpx2,

If you like Greek food (I know you didn't go to Prague to have Greek food but this restaurant is really an awesome place with excellent food and service), try the Taverna Olympos in Prague 3.

I just got back from a business trip in the Czech Republic. We only had 1 night to walk around Prague. We found a great little restaurant on Dlouha street called Lary Fary - sounds funny, I know. It's a little more upscale and seems to be more of local place.

If you like Italian, my wife any I ate at Ambiente Pasta Fresca. It was one of the best meals of our entire trip. Incredible Pasta dishes, incredible wine list by the glass, excellent service, atmosphere, and VERY reasonably priced. We did not stay at the Golden Well, but we met 2 people who had stayed there, and they said it was wonderful. Champagne send off at the end of their stay. He is the site for that restaurant, I would recommend making a reservation (we didn't but still got in).
