restaurant in the Marais where they sing along

Someone mentioned a restaurant in the Marais where they have a singalong, but she didn't remember the name. Before I had a chance to click on her name to see the trip report and get the name, I had to sign off, and now I don't remember who it was.
So, please, anyone who knows of this restaurant, send me the name.
ASAP, we leave for Paris in the morning.
Thanks.

Can't help you with Marais, but I THINK, not at all sure, that they have a sing-a-long at Lapin Agile in Montmartre.

I can't remember the name but I know that as you are walking to Rue des Rosiers(l'As du Falafel) from Metro St. Paul it is on the left.

Could it be Le Vieux Belleville ? Not in the Marais, but definitely a singalong place.

In the Marais, I just remember that on Tuesdays night there is a piano bar singalong Au Gai Moulin, music great, food is awful.

If you find cigalechanta's "Rainy Days in Paris" thread you may find the answer to your question. I remember Mimi writing about such a restaurant.

Found this "Sing-a-Long" restaurant quite by accident whilst looking for another resto - - AU LIMONAIRE, 18 Cite` Bergere, Grands Boulevards. PH: +33145233333.

What is a sing a long restaurant? (and would it be suitable for kids?)

It can't be Au Lapin Agile; that's in Montmartre.

Au Sergeant le Recruiter? I don't even know if that's in the Marais, but I think it's one of those places where unusual touristy things go on.

Canada_V - I have never been to a restaurant that incorporates a piano or most likely an accordian, and encourages the patrons to engage in some songs. Unless you can sing in French, which I most certainly and very unfortuately cannot, a person would have to be content with the enjoyment of just listening to the old tunes and sway to the music! Quite enjoyable I would think but as for children - I don't think so. Could be quite wrong of course.

Both La Tavern du Sergeant Recruteur and Nos Ancetres les Gaulois are on Isle St. Louis:

These restaurants have strolling guitar players who encourage dinners to sing along (in French of course). They offer fun and a convivial atmosphere over the notoriety of a skilled kitchen but tourists find them very memorable none the less.

Canada_V : Another sing (and dance) along restaurant with a lively atmosphere and quite accessible even though it's not in the centre of Paris.
