I second the vote for Ditti Rambo off of Campo de Fiore. It was my absolute favorite, and reasonable prices. My husband said the calamari dish was the best he had ever had (and beleive me, with his big ticket expense account he has had some great ones). You do need reservations. We just wandered in around 9:00pm, and although they accomadated us, we were sitting basically at the front door. Very friendly also.

We enjoyed Piccolo Cucangna (sp?) just off Piazza Navona near San Panteleo. A very nice small Trattoria with outdoor seating, good food and reasonable prices.

We really enjoyed Da Francesco near Piazza Navona. Very good food at cheap prices. There were many locals there

Al 34 is a very good place to eat but very crowded. it has very reasonable fixed menus if you are interested.<BR><BR>Trattoria Scavalino near Trevi is also very nice. Its a hole in the wall joint down an alley but the seafood was magnificant and very cheap.<BR><BR>
