Reporting from Old Trafford-UEFA Champions League Final

Well, it wasn't the game I thought it should have been, but still, very exciting. If nothing else, I did get my monies worth, timewise. I just returned to the hotel and the Milan fans are going wild. It looks like a looooonnng night for city center bartenders.
Old Trafford is looking as great as ever. It's sad that ManU did not get to play in the final.
Congratulations to AC Milan and their fans!! Whatever anybody else says, you got there and you won the game!!! Once again congratulations!!!
I will be at next year final when MANU takes the trophy!!!

In your dreams.

No doubt being a Manchester United "supporter" you don't live and in Manchester - probably nearer London and no doubt you will reply "I have a been a season ticket holder for blah blah blah years"

Please don't post such nonsensical rubbish and you you won't get such a sarcastic reply.

Thanks

No, actually I live on a little island paradise we call Siesta Key, Florida. Been a ManU fan since late 60's, while growing up in Poland. Don't have season tickets, but still manage to see 3-4 games a year in person. Watch about 80% of their season games on TV at home. I got lucky to get my hands on a ticket to the final just before the first Real game. I thought they still had a chance at home, but it did not happen. I know they would have beaten Juventus if they got past Real.
It would have been so sweet if they did play in the final.
They will be holding that trophy next year - GUARANTEE!!!
Go ManU!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed the match AAF and hope you're right about next season

Did you manage to get to any of Manchester's Europa festival events whilst you were here?

There were some other activities going on, but the only thing I went to was Amstel's Living room set-up in Alberts Square. I was there only for one night, so did not have a chance to do too many other events, to be honest, did not even know what else was happing, except for outdoor music and Amstel's thing.
