Driving in Italian cities is nothing like driving in the US (very few intersections have traffic lights, there are numerous traffic circles and right of way goes to the driver who is least chicken). So unless you are very experienced in riding bikes and in dealing with heavy and chaotic traffic I wouldn't recommend this. If you are determined I;m sure you can find rental places in Rome and Florence - just check out google or AOL or?. They would be useless in Venice - because of the canals - most of the city is closed to motor vehicles of any kind.

Hi kc,
Do you ofeten have feelings of worthlessness?
Do you believe that everyone hates you?
Do you have trouble sleeping?
Are you listless and lacking in energy?
That you wish to drive a moped in Italy is a sure sign of clinical, suicidal depression. I suggest that you seek professional help immediately.

Pish tosh - - what irrationally jump-to-conclusion talk, Ira! We know nothing about "kct"? Might be someone who has grown up around crazy,scooter-congested urban environments all his/her life - - how do you know that "kct" isn't from Hong Kong? Or VERY experienced riding scooters in Madrid or Paris from age 14 to 17, just last decade?
We should answer the question.
