Rental Car Terminology

I was looking around Internet for low priced car rentals. I stumbled across one company called cheapcarhire.com

I was baffled by the term used to describe the transmissions: False.

What on earth does the company mean by describing a transmission as false?
I normally think of the transmission being either manual or automatic, not true or false.

The car is real, but the transmission is false? I bring my own gear box? What?

That's why their cars are so cheap.

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

The answer is on their website:

"Any car group that does not state Automatic is a Manual Transmission."

The description label has not been populated next to transmission, that's all, so it's showing as false.

Oh? Then why is the term "True" sprinkled in amongst the the ones that read "False". A 1 bit showed up in the field by accident? \

Perhaps their exclusive or is a bit too exclusive, or inclusive as the case may be. It still makes little sense to the average web seeker.

I think if the question was: This car has a transmission. T F

Then we could take our pick.
