Rental Car Drop in Venice

We will be driving from Florence to Venice and need the most convenient drop off location for our rental car. Which is closest/easiest going to the Marconi Hotel (next the Rialto Bridge)...Venice Airport, Piazzale Roma, Mestre-Vialestazione?

Any thoughts...please???

No contest--Piazzale Roma. Then you'll be just a vaporetto ride away.

Be sure that the location at Piazzale Roma will be open for the day and time you plan to arrive.

When we arrived in Venice, the only drop off open was at the airport.

<<There are 6 of us.....taking the vaporetto is the best way??>>

A vaporetto ticket for each of you will cost 6 euros (since it will go along the Grand canal), unless you each are buying a transit pass of some kind (12-hour, 24-hour, 72-hour . . .)

Your group could also hire a private water taxi. I'm not sure of the cost from Piazzale Roma to Rialto, but I would expect about 50 euros (for all of you together).

I think for 6 with luggage it would be an unpleasant walk.
