Renfe Help

I am finally getting around to booking my train tickets and was wondering what the difference between the different Turista ticket options are and the Preferente?

Tourist Plus will get you a seat in Preferente on certain trains. Well worth the price.

Preferente on some AVE trains includes a meal and drinks. Tourist Plus are the same seats (2+1 configuration), but not leather, and without the meal and wine.

We book P+ Turista...so we can select
the seats. ( With P , one cannot)
The longest we traveled has been under 3 hours ,
Turista is perfectly fine for us.

Thank you everyone!! And ribeirasacra, that is exactly what I was looking for! Perfect!! Question when traveling to Madrid, multiple options came up for Madrid, is Atocha the main train station there?

Whilst Puerta de Atocha would be considered the main station, it will depend where you are going or coming from which station you will exit or enter Madrid. On the RENFE site enter Madrid* and when the schedules appear click on the train number to see the relevant station.

Then you will be arriving at Atocha station. Travel time is just under 2 hours.
