We all liked this place in Venice:

Was going to make a rez at Osteria da Fiore, in Venice, but decided it was just a wee bit too $$$$. (It was not an anniversary year, no splurges.)
I couldn't find the place outside Venice that I mentioned ... maybe they closed, or lost their *** rating. I'll keep looking.

We enjoyed eating here, in Florence (and, yes, it's on Rick's list now):

I became obsessed with finding that Michelin rated restaurant! It's Le Calandre, in Padova (Padua). I made our lunch reservation online, way before we left home. We drove from Siena in the morning and got there in plenty of time for our rez. It's close to Venice, and the location is easy to find. Lunch prices were very reasonable for a place of that caliber.

On the other end of the chi-chi spectrum, this place was memorable, in Siena. We lacked the nerve to eat outside, as those tables are at the same pitch as the 45 degree angle street!
