You will find ATMs all over Prague and Budapest. They are very accessible and practically on every street corner, including in the supermarkets.

Hi Kelley. I just got back from a trip to Budapest, Vienna, and Prague in May. There were atms everywhere - never had a problem. FYI, if you are arriving at the Budapest airport, there is an atm in the baggage pick-up area, so we didn't even have to change money when we first arrived.

Mel, How was the weather in May? I am thinking of going, but don`t want to go when it is super expensive, hot or crowded. Is May a good choice?

I went to Prague and Krakow in May. The weather was rather bad, cold and raining a lot. Two years ago, it was quite lovely in May, so you never can tell. It will not be too hot, however. I was almost wishing for the heat to be turned on.
