Just found out that my relatives live is Asen (northeast of Trondheim). We will be in Trondheim at the end of our tour and we added a day to visit our relatives. Can anyone help me with the best way to travel from Trondheim to Asen and if there is any place to stay over night in/or around Asen? Should I rent a car??? I'd love to find someplace unique to stay that last night in Norway, maybe a bed and breakfast near Asen? Thanks again! <BR>Suzanne

(You can't really call it a town). Hi, <BR>The drive from Trondheim to Åsen should take about one hour. The distance is about 50-60 kilometers. <BR>By the way, the Raddison is a very nice place to stay. It is in walking distance to "everything" . <BR>Kaja <BR>

I contacted the Norweigen tourist information people at norway.org ([email protected]) and they sent me a website for hotels in Norway and pointed out a place called Levanger Vertshus in Levanger, Norway. Are you familiar with this Inn (http://www.dng-hotel.com/levanger-ve...levanger.htm)? Can you estimate the travel distance from Levanger to Asen and Levanger to Trondheim?
