Regent's Hotel Paris Info appreciated

Message: Hi,
I am starting to plan our April 2003 trip to Paris. We are a family of 4 making our first trip to Europe. I came across the Regent's Hotel on rue Madame on a website and it mentioned that they had a few family rooms. Can anyone tell me their experience with this hotel? It looked promising.
Thanks.

Lisa,

I have stayed there 2 or three times and enjoyed it. Good location, quiet, clean, etc.

Never stayed in family rooms, as it was always just my wife and me, but I would not hesitate to stay there.

Good luck and have fun.

Greg

Thanks for the replies. Maryann, the search for Regent does bring a lot of results, but almost all refer to Le Regent on rue Dauphine, not Regent's Hotel on rue Madame.

Lisa,

Just so you know, my positive comments were about the Regent Hotel at 44 Rue Madame.

Great location near ST. Sulpice. Easy walk to river, Rue Buci area, etc. and always felt safe walking back to hotel late at night. Several subway stops nearby.

Greg

Greg, thank you for clarifying the address for me. I have e-mailed the hotel about what constitutes a "family room" so we shall see if it meets our needs. Thanks again.
