"clarice"....hannibal ? lambs ? , why does this name ring a bell?
"life is too short"...true true true.
An excellent idea, spend it somewhere else.
Italy should be 'thief free" as I think is Upstate NY.

I live here in Italy and, I have to say that stereotyping does suck but, gypsies run rampant here. In the summer time, I cannot get on the ferry to check my mail without having kids knock on my car window and just stand there waiting for money. In Rome, Florence, Paris etc, gypsies are everywhere. Is it only gypsies that do this? NO but, that is their way of life. So, if there are lectures on stereotyping, maybe the type of person should be considered. If it is a gypsy, they spend their time hitting up tourists and those of kind heart for money...period no stereotyping.
What is worse is that the people who are begging usually stand by churches praying on the kind hearted. Plus they probably know that it is a considered a sin to christians, at least catholics, to pass up someone in need.
