Reconfirming by email?
Hi--
2 Weeks to go to Italy!! I am really getting excited, now.
Do you all re confirm hotel resos by email. Is this about the right time to do it?

It does not hurt to do it, but I would take along any copy of an e-mail or fax of their accepting your reservation.

I have routinely done and agree with what Michael suggests. Only takes a few minutes and never hurts to have the in-writing confirmation...if nothing else than to ease your mind if necessary.

Yes, it is a good idea to set aside a few minutes to email all your hotels for reconfirmation.
And do bring copies of the confirmations with you.
