Recommended lined raincoats for Ireland in February

I am looking for suggestions for a good raincoat (possibly microfiber) to take to Ireland in the winter. I have already checked out LLBean - they seem a bit expensive at $190.00 but maybe that's what I would have to pay for good quality.
Thanks,
sj

My LL Bean rain gear purchased originally for Italy in November 4 years ago is now worn everyday here at home in St. John's, Newfoundland (Canada). Worth every nickel.

The rain is Ireland may be prolonged but it is seldon heavy.-nothing like you get in Florida for example.Average Feb temp in Ireland is around 40 degrees.Ilive in Ireland now and rarely use an overcoat. An umbrella is enough most times.

Well, I never use an umbrella, so I always find a waterproof jacket to be useful in Ireland.

Prices for a good waterproof jacket are all in the same neighborhood. And while I usually avoid outlets like the plague, they are very good for this kind of thing.

I bought a waterproof jacket while living in Ireland for about 50 pounds, but it is unlined. However, it keeps out everything. Bought it at a Scout store in Belfast.

You might even want to wait until you get there and buy one of the lovely oiled raincoats.I love mine. It will definately be cold unless you really luck out but you will still have a wonderful time in the most wonderful place on earth

Agree with ismlf. Buy one when you get there. Look at Acquascutum.

I bought myself an Inverness cape. Perfect for drizzly weather.

In the States raincoats with zip-out linings are now on sale in many department stores. I bought a beautiful microfiber Misty Harbor in my local department store for $100. It's so much lighter-weight than my old khaki trenchcoat and of course refuses to wrinkle. And beautifully made. I couldn't be more pleased.
