otrellaras posted the bad experience in two threads. You might have mixed them up. Anyway, too late for a refund NOW if you didn't use a credit card.

According to the "Deutsche Welle" of today (Sept.2) Sky Europe has ceased operations and left many travellers all over their network in the lurch.

Otrellaras has plastered his "horror" story all over the web and then disappeared. I am not sure what he was hoping to accomplish. But his story doesn't bring out much pity when you figure he did get to and from his destinations unlike a lot of people out there.

Europe's "favourite " airline , Ryanair (their words, not mine)is offering stranded Skyeurope pax cheap tickets for several months. Beats a sharp stick in the eye I suppose, but not by much...
