Recent Easyjet experience?
Hi,
I am flying EasyJet next week and wondered if anybody had flied with them within the last month or two. If so, what was your experience with luggage? British Airways is allowing two pieces of carryon luggage since the British airport authority has lifted some restrictions, but easyjet still says only one item. Hmmm.

My colleague took Easyjet from Toulouse to Paris on Monday and said "never again." She was accompanying her son to aeronautic school so that she could buy all of the things he needed for his dorm room. She didn't have any luggage. (They flew on Air France with a bunch of luggage out of Paris to Toulouse.)
The flight back to Paris was supposed to leave around 9 p.m. but didn't leave until midnight. She said that all of the Easyjet flights were delayed at least 3 hours out of Toulouse that day.
However, lots of people like Easyjet.

I flew EasyJet from Madrid to Gatwick last week (as well as several times in several places in the past). We had absolutely no problems, left on time, arrived on time. The only thing I don't like about EasyJet is that they post the gate at the last minute. There was one gate posted, and we were waiting there, when I went to the rest room and noticed it had changed (no announcement). Anyway, I like EasyJet, but only had one carryon apiece, so can't answer that for you. I did not notice them making any kind of fuss over any of the other passengers' carryons.

I think one piece of hand luggage is standard for most airlines, isn't it?
We use Easyjet a lot and love them. Never had any problems - and the longest delay I've ever had was about 45 mins. Usually they're pretty punctual ...

We use Easyjet a lot and love them! Depends on the day - we never bring more than one bag so the restrictions aren't a problem. You can always check the extra bag - it's only a few pounds. I've flown them maybe 10 times and never had a flight delay.

We flew Malaga to Gatwick and back in July and was fine. Both legs I had a (reasonably small) handbag and a laptop bag and no one took any notice.
I tend to assume my handbag doesn´t count but try to ensure there is some space in another piece of hand luggage if needs be. My impression is that some airlines say one piece as if they said two, the amount of stuff people would try to carry on would become ridiculous.

Oh and another thing - I don't know if they do this at all airports, but years ago when we flew EasyJet we had to shift some of our stuff from one bag to another so nobody would be over the weight restriction. This time, they weighed our bags together so it wasn't a problem even if one person was over the 20 kg limit.
