Reasonable place to stay in lake como area

We will be in Lake como area for about 6 days and returning to Nice for our flight back. We would like to find either a small apartment or B&B or hotel that is in Bellagio or Varenna. Price range about $100 to $150 a night. We prefer a small kitchenette as my husband is gluten free so it might be easier to toast him gf bread in the mornings. Any recommendation for a nice place that is not too far to walk as we will not be renting a car.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but we have an 2 bedroom apartment reserved for 600 euro for 6 nights. Works out to $150 per night. However there is no boat service where this is located so a car is required.

Altho' you do not mention what month, this is possible to do.

In Bellagio, La Limonera lists a studio with kitchenette for a maximum, high season price of 100 euro per night. They have a website.

We enjoyed the Hotel Bellagio. Great location just a few steps up fron the waterfront.

You might also consider something in Menaggio which may be less expensive than something in the other two towns.
