Ravenna-->San Marino-->Florence transportation :?
We will stay overnight on San Marino; it seems that this route requires a combo of train and bus (we will not be driving) or a car and driver.
Has anyone done this route by public trans?
If not any recs for car and driver?
It seems to be the usual dilemma of spending the time or spending the money.
Also, if you've been to SM, recommendations?
Thanks!

Local people take the bus

Trains and buses from Rimini to Ravenna (the train is faster, however).
Train to Florence: fastest way: via Bologna
most scenic way: via Faenza - Borgo San Lorenzo

There is a Ferrari Museum in San Marino in Maranello. We are going back this August to see it and a few other things we missed last May.
We stayed at the Hotel Cesare and it was very nice. Since we were there in May we missed a lot of the tourist schlock.
Buon viaggio,
